We process orders within 24 hours of receiving them, not including holidays.
Average shipping time, after order processing, is 7-20 days. Holidays, customs, and seasonal factors can cause delays that result in orders arriving later than 30 days after processing. We cannot be responsible for delays. The customer is responsible for paying any applicable customs taxes.
Orders ship directly from our suppliers in the US and China. To keep costs low, suppliers often have multiple warehouses, so sometimes orders might ship from multiple locations. Orders with multiple items will usually ship each item separately.

We source quality items from several suppliers in Asia as well as the United States. Shipping delivery time varies depending on suppliers location, shipping method used and your geographic location.
At The Smart Backpack Store we expect that your purchases will meet or exceed your expectations. However, we realize that on occasion there may be a problem with an order. If your item is damaged , you may return it in its original condition for a refund (minus and shipping) within 45 days of your order being shipped from The Smart Backpack Store. For November and December purchases, the return time period is extended to 75 days.
To return an item to The Smart Backpack Store, please follow these simple steps to assure quick processing and to receive full credit, less shipping, for the item you are returning.
1) Email The Smart Backpack Store at email@example.com and include: your order number, the name of the item, date purchased, and your name and address. Please indicate your preference for an exchange or refund.
2) A customer service representative will respond to your email with specific return instructions and will issue you a return merchandise authorization number (RMA). You can expect to receive the RMA number within approximately 48 to 72 hours. Please write the RMA number on the packing slip inside your package and on the outside of your package. Please note that we cannot process returns without an RMA number.
3) Return the unused item with all of its original packaging, and ship it back to us. We recommend that you ship the item insured as we cannot offer refunds for packages that become lost en route. For security reasons, please do not write "jewelry" on the outside of the package.
Once your return is received you will receive notification regarding your return or exchange within seven days.
All unauthorized or improperly packaged returns will be returned to sender. Please note that items that show signs of wear or have been, resized, engraved, altered, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.
